Diane has had fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue for over ten years. She writes that she is slowly learning to live with it and has recently been able to start work as a volunteer six hours a week. The best way I know how to deal with anxiety or stress is to either sit or lay down in a quiet place, close my eyes and think of a nice, quiet place where I’d rather be at that moment.
I visualize it, add sound and concentrate only on that image/experience. It’s hard to do… but with practice it has become a very useful tool.
