Success in back pain management

I was asked if I would be interested in helping others achieve success in BACK PAIN MANAGEMENT.

My answer is…absolutely!!! I wish to make it clear that successful pain management does not come exclusively from a pill bottle; too many expect that “microwave” cure! It involves a long journey in comprehensive pain management involving mind/body medicine.

I have successfully managed low back pain for 20 years (DDD l5-s1) without surgery. It was imperative that I BE PART OF AN INPATIENT COMPREHENSIVE PAIN MANAGEMENT PROGRAM… AT THE BEGINNING OF MY “PATH” without which I never would have acquired all the “tools” one needs to reenter the real world. In this cloistered setting the human organism is approached as a holistic entity with physical, psychological, nutritional and pharmaceutical medicine combined to “custom fit” the individual.

THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT WHEN THAT UMBILICAL CORD IS CUT, YOU HAVE THE SKILLS, COURAGE AND TENACITY TO MAINTAIN YOUR HOME PROGRAM—IT IS NOT EASY BUT HERE I STAND, THE MASTER OF MY BODY AND SOUL, NOT THE SLAVE TO PAIN THAT ONCE RULED!

If anyone cares to chat with me, note that I am also the American Chronic Pain Association (ACPA) facilitator in NYC/Westchester and can be reached through them (800) 533-3231. As far as I am concerned, they are all MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE STRUGGLE!
